BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — A helicopter crash in Boynton Beach on Monday claimed the lives of two individuals, authorities confirmed.
The victims have been identified as Alejandro Carrasco, 28, of West Palm Beach, and Bryan Menna, 52, a student pilot from Michigan. Both were aboard the Robinson R44 helicopter that went down in a warehouse in the 3800 block of South Congress Avenue shortly before 12:30 p.m.
Emergency responders were on the scene, and city spokeswoman Chelsea Sanabia reported that no further details regarding the incident are available at this time.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is currently investigating the cause of the crash. No additional injuries or fatalities were reported, and there were no lane closures as a result of the incident.
