Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-70 Causes Lane Closures
KANSAS CITY, MO — A multi-vehicle collision occurred on I-70 East near the Blue Ridge Cutoff at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Friday, resulting in significant traffic disruptions.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, four vehicles were involved in the crash. Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene; however, the number of injuries remains unconfirmed. No fatalities have been reported.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident. Tow trucks were on site to assist in clearing the vehicles, and multiple lanes were closed for several hours.
