JEFFERSON COUNTY, Miss. — Two teens were killed in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 552 West at approximately 8:52 a.m. on February 28, 2026.
An 18-year-old Port Gibson driver, Kamarion J. Hyder, was traveling east in a 2018 Nissan Altima when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Nineteen-year-old Dyamond Dee of Natchez was a passenger in the vehicle.
Both individuals sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation; no further details have been released at this time.
