MARSHALL COUNTY, Iowa — Two people died Sunday night following a motorcycle crash in Rhodes.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the scene shortly after 9 p.m. Deputies found Brandon Overman, 31, unresponsive near the roadway, several yards from the motorcycle. After searching the area, they located his passenger, Chandler Kendall, 27, who was also unresponsive.
Overman was pronounced dead at the scene. Kendall was transported by air ambulance to a Des Moines hospital, where she later died.
The crash is under investigation.
