I-75 southbound near mile marker 111 is limited to one lane following a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning.
According to the Lexington Police Department, the northbound lanes were temporarily closed but have since reopened. Two individuals were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Crews are currently on-site conducting cleanup operations, and one lane of southbound I-75 remains closed.
Authorities advise drivers to anticipate significant delays until at least 12:00 p.m.
In a related report, the lane restrictions at the Southern Split remain in effect due to a semi-truck that overturned during the incident. Traffic is backed up to Newtown Pike, and long delays are expected to continue until noon.
