CANYON COUNTY, Idaho — Two hospitalized in motorcycle crash Monday afternoon, authorities confirmed.
The incident occurred at 12:46 p.m. on US20 near mile marker 1. A motorcycle attempted to pass a semi-truck when it hit an “oil slick,” causing the rider to lose control and crash onto the shoulder.
The 57-year-old male operator was transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance, while his 55-year-old female passenger was airlifted from the scene. Both individuals, residents of Woodinville, Washington, were wearing helmets at the time of the crash, according to Idaho State Police (ISP).
The crash is currently under investigation, and no further details on injuries or fatalities were available.
