A wrong-way collision occurred Saturday night on Route 146 southbound in Lincoln, near the Breakneck Hill Road exit, at approximately 9 p.m.
The Rhode Island State Police reported that one vehicle entered the highway in the northbound direction while traveling in the southbound lane.
One individual sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. Authorities indicated that charges are pending against one of the drivers involved.
The incident is currently under investigation.
