PEARL CITY, Hawaii (Island News) – Three pedestrians, including a toddler, were hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Pearl City on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. on September 23, at the intersection of Lehua Avenue and Ashley Avenue. According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS), a 30-year-old man, a 29-year-old woman, and a 3-year-old boy were crossing the street when they were hit.
EMS treated the victims for multiple injuries at the scene before transporting them to a local emergency room in serious condition. The specific nature of their injuries has not been disclosed.
Authorities confirmed there were no road closures due to the accident, and an investigation is ongoing.
