MCCLAIN COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run crash that resulted in one fatality early Friday morning in McClain County.
Around 3 a.m., emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash on northbound I-35 at mile marker 94. Upon arrival, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers discovered that one driver had fled the scene.
The driver at the scene, 56-year-old David Blasingame, succumbed to his injuries. A 75-year-old passenger in his vehicle also sustained injuries and is receiving medical attention.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available at this time.
