NORMAN, Okla. (KOKH) —
A multi-vehicle crash on I-35 Northbound near Norman occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, resulting in significant traffic delays.
Authorities reported backup extending from I-35 and Robinson to past Indian Hills. Emergency response teams, including NORMAN FIRE DEPARTMENT and NORMAN POLICE DEPARTMENT, attended the scene to assist with injuries and manage traffic flow.
Witnesses indicated that multiple injuries were reported; however, the exact number remains unconfirmed.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes, with 12th Avenue NE recommended as a detour that becomes Sooner Road further north.
As of 9:50 a.m., traffic conditions on I-35 Northbound have improved and reopened to normal flow.
