KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 64 West/Interstate 77 North in Kanawha County has caused significant traffic delays, according to Metro 911 dispatchers.
The incident occurred Thursday afternoon near Kanawha City. Dispatchers confirmed that the tractor-trailer was hauling two other trailers at the time of the crash. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
Metro 911 indicated that the interstate will be closed at mile marker 97.8. Traffic is being diverted at the Kanawha Boulevard exit, allowing reentry at Greenbrier Street.
