TINTON FALLS—A crash on the Garden State Parkway on Thursday, Sept. 10, resulted in the death of a Toms River man, New Jersey State Police reported.
Mark Edgell, 57, was involved in the incident around 4:45 p.m. in the southbound lanes at milepost 103.
According to authorities, Edgell's Nissan SUV hit a guardrail, veered off the road, and collided with a tree.
The New Jersey State Police are conducting an ongoing investigation and have not released additional details.
