Three Dead, One Airlifted in Laconia Motorcycle Crash
LACONIA, NH — Three motorcycle riders were pronounced dead at the scene of a crash on Saturday night, while a fourth was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Route 3 near the intersection with Parade Road. According to authorities, two motorcycles and a pickup truck were involved in the collision.
Emergency responders from the Laconia Fire Department arrived to provide medical assistance. The injured rider was airlifted to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment.
Authorities confirmed the fatalities but have withheld the identities of the deceased pending family notification. No other injuries were reported, and the pickup truck driver remained on the scene.
The New Hampshire State Police are investigating the cause of the crash. Northbound lanes of Route 3 were closed for several hours as investigators processed the scene.
