Bentlee Potts, a 17-year-old recent graduate of Santa Fe High School, died on June 20 following a fatal crash at Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, Tennessee.
The incident occurred during a race when Potts' vehicle overturned, according to authorities.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, but Potts was pronounced dead shortly after the accident. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Investigation into the crash is ongoing. The raceway has not issued a statement regarding the incident.
