Taylorsville Police Car Crash Causes Road Closure on Mountain View Corridor.

HERRIMAN, Utah (Local News Wire) — A crash at the intersection of Mountain View Corridor and Porter Rockwell Boulevard has led to prolonged road closures.

Authorities reported the incident occurred around 6:45 a.m. on Friday. A Taylorsville emergency vehicle was heading north on Mountain View Corridor when it collided with a silver sedan, which then struck two additional stopped vehicles at the intersection, according to Sgt. Greg Shaver of the Herriman City Police Department.

One passenger from the sedan, aged 20, was from the scene in critical condition. Other individuals involved sustained minor injuries and received treatment on-site.

The intersection remains closed for cleanup and investigation, with officials advising the public to avoid the area and seek alternate routes. The Utah Department of Transportation confirmed that northbound Mountain View Corridor is closed at 2100 North in Lehi, alongside closures on westbound Porter Rockwell Boulevard.
