A St. James man died in a vehicle crash in Maries County on Wednesday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 6:40 a.m. on Highway 28.
According to the crash report, a 2020 Ford F-350 crossed the centerline, colliding head-on with a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica.
Both vehicles subsequently veered off the right side of the roadway.
The 25-year-old driver of the Chrysler was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ford driver, an 18-year-old man from Owensville, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
MSHP confirmed that both drivers were wearing seatbelts during the crash.
Authorities noted that an investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available at this time.
