COVINGTON, Ky. — Southbound I-71/75 reopened Wednesday after a 6:15 a.m. Sept. 9 crash at the Cut-in-the-Hill near the 12th Street exit.
Two lanes initially closed, then all lanes were blocked shortly after the crash, according to Kenton County dispatchers.
The incident brought the morning commute to a standstill on both sides of the Ohio River, authorities said.
No injuries were reported, according to dispatch.
Travel delays reached more than 40 minutes during the peak of the rush hour.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
