A multi-vehicle collision on I-95 South in New Haven, Connecticut, resulted in multiple injuries early this morning.
The crash, involving five vehicles, occurred around 5:30 a.m. near Exit 47. Authorities said emergency services were dispatched promptly to assist those injured.
Two individuals were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries; no fatalities have been reported.
The Connecticut State Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident. Authorities confirmed that two lanes of I-95 South remain closed for cleanup and investigation.
Traffic congestion is expected in the area as delays continue; motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
