Three hospitalized after serious crash on Route 495
MENDON, Mass. —
Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle collision on Route 495 north in Mendon that resulted in three hospitalizations Saturday afternoon.
The crash occurred near Exit 18 at approximately 3:15 p.m. and involved four vehicles.
Emergency responders from the Mendon Fire Department, along with State Police, provided medical aid at the scene.
Two individuals were transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center with serious injuries, while a third was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
All lanes were temporarily closed for about 45 minutes as crews worked to clear the wreckage and began an investigation into the incident.
Authorities have not released further details regarding the conditions of the injured or possible causes of the crash.
