Seven Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash in Providence
PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Seven individuals, including a police officer, were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Thurbers Avenue and Prairie Avenue late Friday night.
Providence Police reported that the incident began when a police cruiser, responding to a service call, was struck by another vehicle. This collision resulted in a chain reaction involving two additional cars.
The police officer has since been released from the hospital. Six other occupants involved in the crash were also hospitalized and reported experiencing pain.
Authorities have not disclosed further details about the individuals involved. The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
