(WJAR) — One person was injured in a rollover crash on Braley Road in New Bedford on Sunday evening.
According to police, officers responded to the scene shortly after 6:30 p.m. for a report of a single-vehicle accident.
Authorities said the operator of the vehicle was attempting to stop at the end of the off-ramp to make a right turn onto Braley Road when the brakes failed. The vehicle traveled into a ditch and overturned.
Emergency responders transported the driver to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident prompted temporary lane closures while the scene was cleared.
The crash remains under investigation by New Bedford police.
