A Richmond, Mo. man was airlifted to a hospital following a vehicle crash in Miller County on Friday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 12:16 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 52 and Meadowbrook Road.
According to the crash report, a 2020 Ford F-550 was waiting to make a left turn when a 2004 Ford Taurus collided with its rear.
The 29-year-old Taurus driver sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to University Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the F-550, a 38-year-old man from Sunrise Beach, reported no injuries.
MSHP confirmed the Sunrise Beach driver was wearing a seatbelt; the seatbelt status of the Richmond driver is unknown.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and no further details have been released.
