RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. — A school from the Richland School District was involved in a collision early Thursday morning, though officials reported that no students suffered serious injuries. The incident occurred at approximately 7:40 a.m. on State Highway 80, near County Highway RC.

According to the Richland County Sheriff's Office, the bus, operated by Kobussen Bus Service, was headed south on State Highway 80 and was making a left turn onto County Highway RC when it was struck on its right side by an oncoming vehicle traveling north.

All students aboard the bus were transported safely to their respective school buildings, and the bus driver was unharmed, as confirmed by district officials.

The school district made accommodations for students who experienced delays reaching school due to the traffic congestion caused by the accident.

Ongoing investigations into the crash are being conducted by the Richland County Sheriff's Office.
