Polk County crash results in one fatality and two serious injuries.

AMERY, WI—One dead, two injured in a crash Tuesday morning.

According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred at 10:40 a.m. at the intersection of State Highway 65 and County Highway F, about 10 minutes west of Amery.

Authorities reported that a traveling eastbound failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a southbound pickup truck. The driver of the , identified as 18-year-old Marley John Mickelsen of Lino Lakes, was at the scene.

The two occupants of the pickup were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The crash is under investigation by the Polk County Sheriff's Office and the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Emergency services were on the scene, and the intersection experienced lane closures during the response.
