Multiple-Vehicle Accident on I-85 Near Montgomery Injures Four

MONTGOMERY, AL – A multi-vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 85 southbound near mile marker 123 at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, injuring four individuals.

According to authorities, the accident involved three vehicles, including a sedan and two SUVs. Emergency response teams from Montgomery Fire Rescue and state troopers arrived on the scene promptly. All injured parties were transported to Jackson Hospital for treatment; none of their injuries were reported as life-threatening.

The southbound lanes of I-85 were closed for approximately two hours as crews cleared the wreckage and conducted an investigation. Traffic delays were reported in the area, with drivers advised to seek alternate routes.
