ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. — At approximately 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday, a fatal crash occurred in Adams County, taking the life of a 62-year-old man and injuring two others.
According to Mississippi Highway Patrol officials, a 2024 Nissan Sentra heading west on Highway 84 collided with a 2009 Nissan Versa traveling north on Highway 61. Charles E. Buie, a passenger in the Versa from Fayette, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Virginia Morgan, 77, and a 6-year-old child were transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Their current conditions have not been disclosed.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
