LOVELL — A 25-year-old woman was killed Thursday morning in a head-on collision on Main Street at 11:45 a.m.
Authorities said her SUV collided with a pickup truck in the 600 block of Main Street. The driver of the pickup truck suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a hospital by LifeFlight.
Neither driver was accompanied by passengers during the crash. Emergency responders pronounced the woman dead upon arrival.
The incident is under investigation by the Oxford County Sheriff's Office, with assistance from Fryeburg Police, Fryeburg Rescue, and the Lovell Fire Department.
