Kearney Crash Involves Multiple Vehicles, Injuries Reported
Kearney, MO — A multi-vehicle crash occurred Wednesday morning on U.S. Highway 71, resulting in several injuries, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
The incident took place around 9:15 a.m. and involved three vehicles, including a sedan and two SUVs. Authorities confirmed that at least two individuals sustained injuries; their conditions remain under evaluation by medical personnel on-site.
Emergency responders from the Kearney Fire Department and the Highway Patrol worked together to clear the scene. Towing services were dispatched to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 71 were temporarily closed for approximately one hour, leading to significant traffic delays. The road was reopened at 10:30 a.m. after the area was cleared and deemed safe.
