NORTH CHARLESTON, SC — Police arrested a man on Oct. 21 in connection with an April crash that left another driver injured.

Raymond L. Wilkins, 50, faces charges of hit-and-run with serious bodily injury, habitual traffic offender, and driving on a suspended license (third or subsequent offense).

The incident occurred just before 1 p.m. on April 7 on Meeting Street Road near Banyan Street. According to authorities, one driver was found unconscious and trapped in a vehicle. A second vehicle at the scene was unoccupied, but evidence linked Wilkins to it.
