Firefighters Rescue Trapped Person Following Three-Vehicle Crash in Scituate
SCITUATE, R.I. — Emergency responders from the Chopmist Hill Volunteer Fire Department rescued a person trapped in a vehicle after a three-vehicle collision on Wednesday. The crash occurred on Hartford Pike, between West Greenville Road and Elmdale Road.
Fire officials reported that crews arrived on the scene to find one vehicle overturned, with an occupant trapped inside. Emergency responders removed the door and A-pillar of the vehicle to safely extricate the individual and address fluid leaks.
Several individuals involved in the incident were transported to nearby hospitals, according to the fire department.
