BLOOMINGTON, MN — A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a crash on I-494 Sunday evening, according to an incident report from the Minnesota State Patrol.
At approximately 5:15 p.m., a 42-year-old motorcyclist and a 32-year-old driver of a Subaru Outback were traveling westbound on I-494. The motorcyclist collided with the Subaru near East Bush Lake Road following a sudden slowdown, authorities said.
The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. The Subaru driver reported no injuries.
Emergency response teams attended the scene, and authorities are conducting an investigation. No lane closures or traffic disruptions were reported following the crash.
