Naples, ME – A motorcyclist died in a crash on Sunday morning, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities responded to reports of a single-vehicle accident near Harrison Road around 10:15 a.m. The motorcyclist was found deceased at the scene, and no other vehicles were involved.
The identity of the deceased has not been released, pending notification of family members. Investigators noted that alcohol and speed appear to be contributing factors, and the operator was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is currently reconstructing the incident.
