Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 45 Injures Three
KANSAS CITY, MO — A multi-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 45 near the intersection with Main Street on Saturday evening, injuring three individuals.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident involved four vehicles traveling southbound. The incident was reported at 6:15 p.m. Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly thereafter, providing medical aid to the injured.
Authorities confirmed that two of the injured were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the third individual sustained serious injuries. The identities of those involved have not yet been released.
Witnesses reported that traffic was heavy at the time of the crash, resulting in significant delays. Two lanes of the highway were closed for over an hour as crews cleared the wreckage and conducted their investigation.
