Motorcyclist Dies in Crash on Highway 21 Near Lucky Peak
BOISE, Idaho — A 21-year-old motorcyclist died Saturday evening following a crash on Highway 21 near Lucky Peak, according to the Ada County Sheriff's Office.
Emergency responders arrived around 6:30 p.m. to an injury crash at milepost 11. Preliminary investigations indicate the rider of a 2024 Ducati Supersport was traveling southbound when he crossed into oncoming traffic, colliding with a northbound 2005 Ford F-250.
The motorcyclist, the sole occupant of the bike, was transported by Life Flight to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Ada County Sheriff's Office Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
