INDIANAPOLIS — A motorcycle crash with a pickup truck resulted in one fatality Sunday afternoon on the city's southeast side, according to police.
At 2:13 p.m., Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers responded to the collision in the 6600 block of South Arlington Avenue, located between the roundabout at Shelbyville Road and East Southport Road.
Authorities confirmed that the motorcyclist died at the scene. The identity, gender, and age of the deceased have not yet been released.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. IMPD crash investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
