Motorcycle Crash in Casco, Maine, Claims Life of Man and Critically Injures Child.

CASCO, MAINE — A crash late Thursday night on Route 302 has resulted in one fatality and serious injuries to a child.

The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. in the Watkins Flats area, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office. Kyle Lunn, 34, was operating a motorcycle with a juvenile passenger when they crossed the center line and collided with a .

Lunn, a resident of Casco, was at the scene. His passenger was transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the sustained minor injuries and was taken to Bridgton Hospital.

Part of Roosevelt Trail was closed for nearly three hours following the crash. Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision with assistance from the Windham Police Department's crash reconstruction unit.
