DUNEDIN, Fla. — According to Dunedin Fire Rescue, a small plane made an emergency water landing near Honeymoon Island State Park around 1:45 p.m. yesterday.
The aircraft, with two occupants, went down offshore but both were able to safely reach the shore with minor injuries, authorities said.
Emergency responders were on the scene to assist and evaluate the individuals involved.
The incident remains under investigation.
