BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A 66-year-old man from Montana died following a crash at the St. Anthony Sand Dunes on Friday at approximately 2:20 p.m.
Fremont County emergency responders arrived to find bystanders performing CPR on the victim. Despite efforts from both bystanders and emergency personnel, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is under investigation, and authorities stated that further details will not be released at this time. Emergency responders extended their condolences to the victim's family and reminded recreational users of the dunes to exercise caution and wear protective gear.
