Oskaloosa ATV Crash Claims Life of Missouri Woman
Oskaloosa, IA – Aug. 12, 2026, 4:17 p.m. CT – A Missouri woman was killed in an ATV accident at Bluff Creek Off-Highway Vehicle Park on Saturday, Aug. 8.
Emily Turner, 26, of Jamesport, Missouri, suffered fatal injuries in a single-vehicle crash while operating a four-wheel ATV, according to a news release from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, where Turner was pronounced dead shortly after. Authorities said the investigation into the crash is ongoing. No additional injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved.
