Five- Collision on I-95 Leaves One Dead, Several Injured

BALTIMORE, MD—A five-vehicle collision on Interstate 95 northbound occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. on October 11, resulting in one fatality and three injuries.

According to the Maryland State Police, the crash took place near Exit 55. The vehicles involved included two sedans, a pickup truck, and two SUVs. Emergency responders from the Baltimore City Fire Department provided medical aid on the scene before transporting the injured to local hospitals.

Authorities confirmed that one driver, a 34-year-old male, died at the scene. The conditions of the three injured individuals remain unknown.

The Maryland Transportation Authority is currently handling the investigation. Traffic was halted in the northbound lanes for over two hours as crews cleared the wreckage, leading to significant delays. Towing services removed the vehicles from the roadway by 5:30 p.m.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities urging witnesses to come forward with any additional information.
