MILES CITY — A 26-year-old woman died in a single-vehicle crash on I-94 Wednesday night.
The incident occurred at 8:43 p.m. when a Nissan Maxima, driven by the woman, left the roadway, became airborne, and rolled multiple times. Her passenger, a 35-year-old man from Hardin, sustained injuries.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, neither individual was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Authorities suspect alcohol may have been a contributing factor. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
