LINCOLN COUNTY, Miss. — A Meadville man died in a crash on Sunday morning on Highway 583.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) responded at approximately 8 a.m. to a single-vehicle accident. According to MHP officials, a 2014 Nissan Maxima, driven by 44-year-old Randall Hunt, was traveling south when it veered off the left side of the road, overturned, and collided with a tree.
Hunt sustained fatal injuries from the incident. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, and no additional details regarding other vehicles or injuries have been reported at this time.
