Lede: A crash on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua claimed the life of an 85-year-old Massachusetts man on Monday afternoon.
Authorities reported the incident occurred shortly after 2:45 p.m. near Exit 7E. Joseph Casper of South Boston, Massachusetts, was rear-ended by another vehicle, causing his car to collide with a pickup truck.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene; the two other drivers sustained minor injuries, while Casper did not survive the crash.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing, and no further details on the other vehicles involved have been released. Traffic conditions were impacted temporarily, but the lanes have since reopened.
