Manchester Man Killed in Crash on I-84 West in Danbury
DANBURY, Conn. — A Manchester man died in a crash involving a tractor-trailer on I-84 West on Wednesday morning.
According to Connecticut State Police, the truck was parked on the shoulder when 42-year-old Jason Valarezo collided with it. Emergency responders transported the driver of the truck with minor injuries.
Authorities confirmed the crash occurred shortly after 9:00 a.m. The left lane was closed as crews cleared the scene. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
