SHAWNEE COUNTY, Kan. — Chris W. Ross, 63, of Topeka, died early Oct. 18 after an all-terrain vehicle he was riding rolled over in northeast Shawnee County.
According to Shawnee County Sheriff Brian C. Hill, deputies and rescue workers responded to the incident around 1:30 a.m. in the 4200 block of NE Sherman Road, where Ross was pronounced dead.
Hill's office had not released Ross's identity in the initial news release about the crash issued on Oct. 18. The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.
Authorities continue to gather details as the investigation progresses.
