MANCHESTER, NH—A man died Wednesday night after fleeing from police and being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 93.
According to New Hampshire State Police, a trooper attempted to stop a 2026 Toyota Camry for speeding northbound around 11:45 p.m. The driver fled, leading officers on a brief pursuit that ended at Exit 6.
The Camry crashed on the Hanover Street Connector. The driver then exited the vehicle and ran towards I-93, where he was hit by a Hyundai Elantra. The driver of the Elantra was not injured and is cooperating with authorities.
The name of the deceased suspect is being withheld as the investigation continues, New Hampshire State Police stated in a press release Thursday.
