Man dies after being struck on I-93 in Manchester, NH following police chase and crash, according to NBC Boston.

Manchester, NH – A man was fatally struck by a vehicle on Interstate 93 late Wednesday, following a police pursuit.

According to New Hampshire State Police, the incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. when a state trooper attempted to stop a 2026 Camry for northbound on the highway. The driver fled, leading police on a brief chase that ended at Exit 6.

Police reported that the vehicle crashed on the Hanover Street Connector. The driver exited the vehicle and ran towards I-93, where he was struck by a Elantra.

The driver of the Elantra was not injured, remained at the scene, and is cooperating with authorities.

The identity of the deceased suspect is being withheld pending the ongoing investigation, as noted in a press release from New Hampshire State Police.

Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant information to contact Trooper Eric Torrens.
