Three-Vehicle Crash Near Bondurant Leaves One Dead
BONDURANT, IA—A three-vehicle collision on Sept. 30 resulted in one fatality, confirmed authorities.
Linda Fristoe, 56, of Marshalltown, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash at 4 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast 56th Street and Northeast 94th Avenue, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, providing medical aid before Fristoe was transported to a local hospital. No additional injuries were reported, and the identities of other involved parties have not been released.
The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the incident. Authorities have indicated that lanes were temporarily closed during the assessment and cleanup.
