COLUMBUS, Ohio — Mezcla in Italian Village will reopen June 5, more than four months after a January van crash closed the restaurant.
Chef-owner Garrett Talmadge announced the reopening on May 18, 2026, according to a social media post. Reservations are available via the restaurant's website and Resy, the post said.
The restaurant has been closed since Jan. 23, when a van struck its front entrance at Summit Street and 3rd Avenue in Italian Village.
Mezcla was recently named among central Ohio's Best New Restaurants, according to Columbus Monthly.
