Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani Injured in Crash on I-93 in New Hampshire

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was injured in a crash on Interstate 93 in New Hampshire on Saturday night, according to his driver.

The crash occurred around 9:50 p.m. when Giuliani and his driver, Theodore Goodman, were returning to the highway after assisting a woman reporting a domestic violence incident. Authorities said they were struck from behind while traveling northbound near mile marker 23.2.

Giuliani sustained multiple injuries, including broken bones, and was taken to a trauma center for treatment. His current condition is improving, said Goodman in a statement. Meanwhile, the drivers of both vehicles involved in the collision also suffered injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

Emergency responders from the New Hampshire State Police and local paramedics were on the scene to provide aid. Investigators are reviewing dash and body cam footage as part of their inquiry into the crash, with no charges filed as of now. Authorities have stated that the driver of the vehicle that struck Giuliani had no connection to the prior domestic violence incident.
